DESCRIPTION:This interactive workshop provides opportunities to improve knowledge\, awareness and understanding of self-harming behaviour\, including its relationship with suicide. Participants explore what leads people to self-harm and learn positive approaches to engaging with\, caring for and supporting someone who self-harms. The session includes audio-visual materials and lived experience contributions\, and encourages active participation throughout. \nFacilitated by HSE North East (Cavan\, Louth\, Meath and Monaghan) in partnership with the HSE National Office for Suicide Prevention.

DESCRIPTION:safeTALK prepares people to become a “suicide-alert helper” by recognising invitations for help through words and actions\, and responding safely.
