SUMMARY:Outcomers LGBT+ Outreach Evening at Virginia Library
DESCRIPTION:This evening session offers a welcoming space for LGBT+ adults and their supporters to come together for conversation\, learning and mutual support. The event will include awareness training and discussion designed to increase understanding of LGBT+ identities and experiences\, while also exploring ways to create safer and more inclusive communities. \nOutcomers is an LGBT+ support service based in Dundalk that provides a safe and welcoming environment for the LGBT+ community through a drop-in centre\, social events\, and support services\, including a helpline and befriending programme. The organisation also works to raise awareness and challenge discrimination\, delivers health education workshops\, and offers resources and training to other organisations. \nThe Virginia Library setting provides a neutral\, community-based venue for people in Cavan and surrounding areas to connect\, learn and access support. \nHosted by Outcomers LGBT+ Support Services in partnership with Virginia Library / Cavan County Council Library Service.
