SUMMARY:SOS Supporters Programme for Workers & Volunteers
DESCRIPTION:Supporting someone who is struggling with their mental health can be both rewarding and challenging. The SOS Supporters Programme\, delivered by Suicide or Survive\, has been specially developed to empower people in work or volunteer roles to provide support while maintaining their own self-care. \nOver two four-hour sessions\, participants will explore skills and strategies around self-care\, connecting\, building hope\, empowerment\, and signposting. This practical training will create a safe and supportive learning space for people who want to strengthen their ability to help others while also looking after themselves. \nPlaces are limited and are reserved specifically for those in a work or volunteer capacity. Refundable booking fees are returned after attendance\, or can be left as a donation to support Suicide or Survive’s ongoing mental health and suicide prevention work across Ireland. \nEvent Details\nDate: Tuesday 30 September 2025 and Tuesday 7 October 2025\nTime: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM (each day)
